This week, in addition to completing your PSA, you and your team need to debrief about the experience. After the online discussion with your team, you will prepare an individual reflection paper that clearly analyzes the group’s pre-production, production, and postproduction processes, shot and editing selection, and Web delivery formatting decisions. In your response, offer insights into how the group could improve its PSA. Identify copyright attributions for assets. Discuss your team’s collaboration and interactions with each other.

The team documents how it brainstormed, discussed, and solved problems. The team documents division of responsibilities and describes how strengths of individual efforts were used. The team clearly collaborates and interacts with each other. The team expertly creates, plans, and manages the project proposal to ensure delivery of final PSA.


Give your thoughts on how you think each step went during the group project.

Pre-production
- I thought assignment of jobs went well as most of us volunteered to use of best attributes. I choose to work with the video and editing because I use it constantly at work. Also I did not volunteer for my voice to be used as my deep East Texas accent draws away from the video. -Satcher

- Pre-production was the easiest part. I got the team together and started this on the wiki to help everyone to know what was going on. Everybody on the team signed up for what part they thought that they would be the best at. We all worked together to get our part done. Hughes

- Pre-production went well, I didn't know how it was going to go due to the fact that we were all in different parts of Texas. Thanks to Misty she was great in getting everyone envolved and begun leading in discussions about the project. We worked great together everyone did there part that was assigned to them.
Wright

-Pre-production went well. I too was concerned how we were going to collaborate since we are scattered. Misty lead the group well by taking charge. everyone did their part which made it seem less overwhelming. Like David, I know I have the East Texas twang to my voice and I hope that it fit well into the video. Kimbrough

Production
- I thought production went well. We all submitted videos and pictures and through email and the wiki added ideas of what to shoot and also had a great voiceover. My voiceover was terrible in the first week and it was the only thing I was counted off for in the entire video. I know we definelty had a better voice. Satcher

-I took pictures and video and e-mailed to David. The other team members did video, voice, and pictures and e-mail and posted on the wiki to help David with putting the video together. Hughes

-Production went welll everyone added different types of mediunms to add to the project such as pictures, video, etc.. I
Wright

- I took pictures and emailed them to David as well as my voice recording. Kimbrough

Post-production-
- Post production is really were we spent more time on the telephone. I thought it was better talking to people and hearing their responses quickly rather than by email or wiki. There is just something about voice interfacing that get things done faster. It was also good to put a voice with a person on the project. Satcher

-We got each others phone numbers and called and talked about the project. We used the wiki to communicate, but it was not a fastest enough response somethimes. We made suggestion on how to edit the video and David would put it together and edit it utill we came up with the final project. Hughes

- During post-production we spent more time on the phone collaborating to put the final picese together. We also took advatage of email and the wikispace to see and crtique the project so we all could be on one accord.

- Email, phone, and the wiki were an easy way for us to communicate and critique the project. Kimbrough

Shot and editing
- This was the fun part. I really got to understand sunlight and shadows early. It makes you appreciate the work that goes into movie production. Editing was tough because of the storage constrictions. 100 mb is hard to do with a 60 second clip. I worked with various techiniques and felt remorse to put our work on quicktime as opposed to an .avi file. The video is not nearly as clear but the work is there. I also got to work with my wife and child on this project o\during the filming, which was nice to get them involved.- Satcher

-David worked on the editing after we gave him ideas on what to do. I found out that it is hard to take a picture inside the car of your child in a seat bealt. It was also hard to take a picture next to a ruler and be able to read it. So I just went into photoshop and edited the picture so you could see it and added text. I thought that part was fun. Hughes

-Due to my very on expected obstacle I was unable to help edit lilke I wanted to. But I did assist david with ideas on how we should structure the video and ways we could put it together
Wright

-David took charge on this part. Thankfully, he has the needed equipment and felt most comfortable putting all of the pieces together. I too found that it is not very easy to take a picture of your child inside the car. I was also reminded of how much I dislike hearning my own voice. Kimbrough

Web delivery
- Web delivery. The biggest roadblock was storage. 100mb was tough in an .avi file, buit quicktime made the transition easy, but not as clear in the video. The video was quickly uploaded and presented on teachertube.com. This website has been quite the interesting find for myself over the last few projects. - Satcher

-David put the video on the wiki and on teachertube. He said it was hard to make it 100 mb for the upload. Hughes

-David posted the video to the various mediums. I know it was difficult to post due to having to be 100mb upload and having to find the right compression until it worked.

- Again, David took the lead on posting the video. Kimbrough
